29 Weeks

Well, as you can see the Babymoon took its toll on our four-legged children. Apparently they didn't relax quite as much as we did. They have spent the better part of the week trying to recover from a wild week at Grandma and Grandpa's "dog spa." We semi celebrated Marbles' 3rd birthday on Monday (St. Patrick's Day) with funfetti cupcakes. Billy and I are always looking for a reason to celebrate and Marbles' birthday seemed the perfect excuse for a little winter fun!

As for Billy and I, we are thrilled to be starting our 29th week today. As a matter of fact, we went to the doctor this morning for a check-up. We're thrilled to say everything seems to be going well. Dr. McKenzie says my belly size is right on and my weight gain is just right (whew!). She said the baby is breach right now but there is plenty of time for him to turn around for the big day. Now, we begin going to the doctor bi-weekly which somehow drives home the fact that the end is in site and we are in the homestretch. That seems impossible!

Billy has been hard at work getting the nursery ready and will probably paint it this weekend. We'll be sure to post pics of the progress. In the mean time, we are going to try and really enjoy this weekend. It is one of the few we have left just the two of us. We are going to tackle some special projects around the house, celebrate Easter with a special dinner for two and church, and perhaps go to dinner and a movie. We're very much looking forward to it!

I am glad to hear your Dr. appointment went well. What did you do to those poor dogs? They look pathetic.

We didn't look quite as cute but Dad and I curled up and slept just like the dogs - when they left.

They actually had such a GREAT time in WV they were depressed to go home and thus the sleeping????
