Christmas with Camden was more hectic than we had imagined, but a blessing nonetheless. We visited family in NC and visited family in WV. As a matter of fact, we were doing so much traveling, we finally bit the bullet and bought the mini-van we've been discussing for a LONG time. Traveling with a baby, two dogs and tons of stuff doesn't really work with a car. So - it's official - I'm a minivan Mom and well . . . I'm quite okay with that. Putting my 22 pounder in the van is much easier than getting him into a cramped car.
We took Camden to the Biltmore while we were in NC which was both a challenge and fun . . . to
say the absolute least. It was the coldest day of our Christmas break - about 14 degrees - so you can imagine how that added to the excitement. We stayed in a quaint little cabin in Maggie Valley which was wonderful until the power went out in the middle of the night and the cabin got so cold, we all (Camden included) piled in the same bed and tried desperately to stay warm. In hindsight - it was quite a journey and one we can laugh about now.
Camden got some fun little educational toys for Christmas. Of course he has no clue he got gifts, but we do and we are appreciative. We put his educational toys and board books to great use!
Camden officially has two bottom teeth and 1/2 of one top tooth. The top tooth is slowly working its way in as we speak. I suspect
The house is rarely quiet these days as Camden has found his voice - oh' and his growler (if there
So, we in general, are doing well. We are staying incredibly busy, but we are well and we are blessed. I hope you enjoy the pics and as always - we would love to hear from you!
